A Hydrolate is the water recovered during the distillation of an essential oil. Hydrolats and hydrosols are often used interchangeably, although they can differ in their method of production. A hydrolate is the aromatic water obtained during essential oil distillation, while a hydrosol is an essential oil dispersed or dissolved in water.
Please note that, as a natural floral water, the aroma of this Lavender Water may be quite different from that of Lavender essential oil. Its gentle cleansing and skin-conditioning properties make it a popular choice for natural skincare and aromatherapy.
